"A hungry stomach has no ears."
Meaning:
When someone is extremely hungry, they cannot focus on anything else not advice, not warnings, not even important conversations. Hunger becomes the first and only priority.
Example:
The teacher kept advising the children to behave, but it was useless. They hadn’t eaten all day. Truly, a hungry stomach has no ears.
